Diving for a treasure
Time: | 10 min. |
Recommended age: | from 10 |
Size of group: | it doesn't matter |
Time for preparation: | none |
Material: | Spoon, objects, treasures |
Game description
Before the game even starts, small objects, for example, spoons are scattered around in the pool. In any case, use objects the submerge easily. Divide the group into 2 teams who have to retrieve the treasure. The challenge though is; the kids are not allowed to open their eyes. Best you prepare goggles beforehand to be sure no one is cheating. As soon as somebody finds an object, it is stored in a container. The winner is the team that found the most treasures. Alternatively, each object can score different points. In the end, you just count the points of each team. To make the game, even more, challenging the teams are diving against the clock. For example, they only have one minute to find the scattered objects. If the teams are timed, they can keep their eyes open. It still will be difficult enough. Points are handed out only for the items in the container. If someone holds an object in his hand at the end, that does not count anymore and has to go back into the pool.
Judging
The team who finds the most objects wins.
