Game description
Beach volleyball is best played on the beach – it is not relevant if the rules of volleyball or beach volleyball are used. In beach volleyball there are only 2 players in a team, in volleyball there are 6. In volleyball only strikes with the hand count but in beach volleyball any body part can be used to strike the ball. In both versions the ball is played over the net into the opponent’s half in an attempt to make contact with the ground. A ball may only be played 3 times before it is played back into the other half. The same player may not strike the ball two times in a row.
Judging
A point is won if the ball touches the ground in the opposing field or if an opponent pushes the ball out of the field. Loss of serve and a point for the other team occurs if the balls is not played over the net in time, the ball hits the ground in your own field or if the ball is out. A game is won when 15 (21) points are achieved with 2 clear points difference.
