Game description
This game is great to get to know each other. Children are much more likely to remember names when they can learn them creatively. Therefore, the “Paper Mess” game is ideal for this purpose. It does not require much material and is a lot of fun for all. First, each participant receives a piece of paper and a pen. Now a letter is called out loud. For example, "O”. Then all children need to ask one another for their names. This means person A goes to person B and asks, “What is your name?” If you have found someone who’s names starts with "O" write it on to your list. Then you go to your teacher or youth worker and get a new letter. This time, it will not be read out loud. The reason behind that is that the participants will remember names more quickly because they also want to win. If there are a lot of people playing, then, of course, you can also ask for their full name. In this case, two letters are called out loud. Of course, you can alter the game in any way possible. The goal is always the same, to remember all the names. With this playful method, this should not be all too hard. It makes a lot of fun and is not really hard either. Who asks, will win.
Judging
The game is finished when the first person has found 10 letters and names. This person automatically won. Of course, you can repeat the whole game as often as you like.
