The game “Who’s pawn in my hand is it” is a popular party game that provides tremendous entertainment. All participants need to take off their shoes, put them on a pile which then is covered up with a blanket so that all shoes are hidden. Next, select a keeper of the shoes. The objective is to get one shoe after the other and saying something like: “The pawn in my hand, what should be happening with it?” The owner of the shoe steps forward. However, the shoe will not be returned to him, unless he does something for it. He gets a task to complete. For example, that could be reciting a song, hopping on one leg from wall to wall, and so on. Only if the shoe owner can fulfil the task, he will get back his shoe as well.
