Game description
The Egg and Spoon race is one of the classic spoon games. However, you do not need to use a raw egg. It could be cooked just as well. This will ensure, if it drops, there is no big mess, and it can be eaten. Anyway, divide the group into two teams. The objective now is to complete a hurdle race with the egg on the spoon. Because this is a relay race one player of the team will always be on the track. You could mark the end of the hurdle race with a flag or something similar. If one egg drops, the kid has to pick it up, put it back on the spoon and repeat the particular hurdle. The next player can only start as soon as the previous child returns with the spoon and egg.
Judging
The team which first gets through all its players wins the game. It is important to have a steady hand even you have to increase the speed you walk or run. As an alternative you could use a wooden egg or a tennis ball.
