Time: | approx. 5 - 10 min. |
Recommended age: | from 12 |
Size of group: | playable with a few teammates |
Time for preparation: | none |
Material: | floating board or tray, cup, container |
Game description
This game is all about filling a bucket as quickly as possible with water. If you have enough kids, divide the group into two teams. First, each team receives a floating board and an empty yoghurt container. They have to fill the container with water. Subsequently, the “waiter” has to take the container on a swimming board across the pool and pour the remaining water in a bucket. Then he runs back to his team, passes on the floating board and container and the next kid has a turn.
Option
To make the game a little more difficult, the team leader can ask for several tasks. For example, in the first round, they have to swim Freestyle, while in the second round, it's breaststroke. Instead of the floating board, they could use a real tray.
Judging
The winner is the team which could fill their bucket first
