Game description
Learning to swim is not easy. And it is more difficult the older the children are. NO matter how old the children are, best is to make them playfully familiar with the water. An element, where they do not have any seeming support and can’t get ahead by themselves. Tornado is one of those games, where the kids can learn, that water is nothing they have to fear. Water is indeed an element, where they can have a lot of fun. Make sure that this is played in rather shallow water but deep enough to make the Tornado work. 5 -6 kids are the ideal number to play this game. Here is how it works: Those chosen kids go into the water, form a circle and hold hands. Now they start turning, faster and faster. This will create a vortex in the middle. It is advisable that kids do not play this game unsupervised.
