Game description
The sack race is a popular race for children during the holidays. To do so, the participants jump into a clean bag, which reaches roughly up to their hips. Either jumping or running, everybody tries to get to the destination. Thereby they always have to keep the bag up. It might surprise the one or other, even in the Olympic Games of 1904, the sack race was part of the competitions. However, the International Olympic Committee did not recognise this as an Olympic discipline. A truly funny alternative to the sack race is the sack race in the water during the warm months of the year. At the beginning, all kids assemble at the edge of the pool, step into a bag and jump into the water. This race in the water is harder than outside because the kids have to deal with quite some water resistance. Caution: This game is only to be played in a stagnant water and the bag is not to reach higher up then to the hips so that the kids slip out of the bag if they fall over. Make sure the kids are supervised at all times.
Judging
The winner is the participant who reaches the destination first.
