Game description
All kids sit at the pool, assembled around the team leader, who tells or reads them a story. Each time the word “raspberry candy” comes up, the kids have to jump into the water and swim a certain distance. As soon as all kids are out of the water again, the story can continue. If necessary, you can modify this game and also extend it if required. For example, you could choose a different word to suit your story, or the story has several keywords and with every keyword the kids have to fulfil a different task.
Option
Instead of swimming a certain distance, whenever the keyword comes up the kids have to throw a ring as far as they can into the water, then dive for it and bring it back with them. In this scenario the participants themselves decide how far they want to swim or dive.
Judging
For this game, there is not really a winner or loser. Fun and attentive listening are what counts here.
