At least three people are required for this sketch. They will play the roles of the hostess, a friend and James, the Butler. The sketch begins when the bell rings, and a friend of the house appears with a new coat. She tells the landlady enthusiastically about her new coat and asks her where her jacket was. The landlady calls for her butler and says, "James, bring me my coat." The butler tells her that she had no coat. Then the shocked girlfriend disappears. The landlady explains to the Butler, the next times somebody asks for something they haven’t got, to say, it was in the washing machine. The next the bell rings again. The landlady’s friend comes once again. She tells that she just bought a new cat and asks for the landlady’s cat.
